AMILCAR CGS «Châssis Grand Sport» "Quand Salmson passe, Amilcar dépasse"! Amilcar est née de la rencontre de 4 hommes: André Morel et Edmond Moyet pour la partie technique et Emile Akar et Joseph Lamy pour la partie finance.
André Morel travaillait pour la société Le Zèbre et Edmond Moyet était un collaborateur de Jules Salomon chez Citroën sur le projet de la 5 CV.
Il travaillait le soir à son domicile sur son projet personnel: la construction d'un cyclecar.
Il rencontre ensuite A Morel mais les finances manquent à l'appel.
André Morel met alors le jeune ingénieur en relation avec Emile Akar qui détient des capitaux importants chez Le Zèbre et Joseph Lamy qui en est le directeur commercial.
La mayonnaise allait prendre puisque les deux hommes sont conquis par le projet d'Edmond Moyet qui est très avancé et ils acceptent de construire le cyclecar.
