The Mercedes-Benz C216 is the third generation of the Mercedes-Benz CL-Class luxury grand tourer, produced by Mercedes-Benz from 2006 to 2014.
Built on the platform of the W221 S-Class saloon, the C216 combined advanced technology with high-end luxury and powerful engines.
Early models included the CL500 / CL550 and the V12-powered CL600, while high-performance versions such as the CL63 AMG and CL65 AMG were developed by Mercedes-AMG.
The car introduced innovative features such as Active Body Control and Night View Assist to enhance safety and comfort.
Production ended in 2014 when Mercedes replaced the CL-Class with the Mercedes-Benz C217, effectively integrating the large luxury coupe into the S-Class lineup.
