The Scimitar Sabre represented the final evolution of the Reliant Scimitar SS1 lineage, launched in 1992 and ceasing production in 1995 with approximately only 50 Sabres ever built.
This 1993 example is powered by Nissan’s 1.8 litre Turbocharged 4-cylinder engine producing in the region of 135bhp and with a declared top speed of over 120 mph.
We think there are less than 10 Turbos currently licenced on UK roads.
This example was driven to our saleroom by the vendors who have owned the Reliant since it was about a year old, the previous owner being Reliant Motors themselves.
So just over 30 years of ownership - tears were shed.
In that 30 years, we can safely say, that no expense has been spared - the invoices and paperwork in the service history file are quite epic.
