Description
The Maserati Quattroporte V, produced from 2003 to 2012, marked a pivotal chapter in Maserati’s revival under Ferrari’s stewardship.
Designed by Pininfarina’s Ken Okuyama, it introduced a sleek and modern aesthetic that distinguished it from its predecessors while emphasising Italian elegance and sportiness.
Built on Maserati’s new Duo
Select automated manual transmission platform, the Quattroporte V blended luxury with dynamic driving characteristics, offering a range of V8 engines developed in collaboration with Ferrari.
Over its production run, the model underwent significant updates, including adding an automatic option, refined interiors, and performance-oriented variants like the Quattroporte Sport GT and Sport GT S.
As a result, it re-established Maserati as a serious competitor in the luxury sports saloon market, challenging rivals from Germany while staying true to its distinctively Italian identity.
