Selling as a project, this pre-WW2 Austin Ascot 12/4 dates from 1936 and was apparently owned by the first owner until the 1960s, and by the second owner until very recently.

The present owner tells us he has had the Austin turning over and starting, and looking at the car, it is safe to assume some further recommissioning will be required.

The registration number is particularly attractive and would appear to be transferrable, assuming the necessary checks were undertaken.

The bodywork and interior are certainly showing their age - although the overall patinated effect is charming.

In addition to the aforementioned V5C and buff logbook, we have 2x handbooks, 2x lubrication charts, a 1987 copy of the Automobile magazine which includes an article about another Austin Ascot, additional articles, and a BBC Car-Wise publication.

Overall, a rewarding project.
