We are delighted to offer this charming Hillman Minx De-Luxe in two-tone grey / cream with red seats.

First registered in March 1962, the very reasonable mileage of just over 73,000 isn’t warranted but the paperwork would lead us to believe that it could well be correct.

The Minx comes with a sheaf of invoices for parts and labour, significantly a new starter motor and battery in the last couple of years.

There is also an invoice indicating that electronic ignition was fitted in 2011 - a useful upgrade for anyone wanting to use the Minx regularly.

The Hilman has clearly had paint at some stage and the quality of the job isn’t the best, however, the gentle patina it has acquired over the years suits it and makes it a very useable classic.

The two-tone colour scheme is extremely charming and goes well with its shrunken-Americana styling.

The chromework is generally very good with some mild patination.

The Lucas reversing light looks to be original.
