As it approaches its 70th birthday, an example of this age and in this condition are hard to find, let alone have an opportunity to own.

In the current owner’s hands for the last 13 years, this Hillman Minx De Luxe has been driven regularly and was driven to our saleroom in Cheshire.

The column change is easy to live with and complements it perfectly.

The current owner has carried out most of the maintenance work himself and there is a large quantity of spare parts included.

The original number plate ‘VWT 215’ remains on the Hillman to this day and you can see the original bill of sale as well at the original registration book in the accompanying documentation.

Photographs of this very example feature in a Buyer’s Guide in the March 1999 issue of ‘Practical Classics’, and yes, we have an original issue of the magazine included too.
