Here is an opportunity you don’t come across very often, a very rare Triumph TR5 which our vendor informs us is one of the last cars built on the last day of production.

Built new on 12/9/1968 and dispatched to P.J.

Evans of Birmingham on 18/9/1968, it was registered to its first owner on 9/12/1968.

The TR5 has only had four previous owners, plus the vendor who has owned it since 2001 and is only selling due to advancing years and lack of use.

It is very much a reluctant sale.

The Triumph comes with a Heritage Certificate from the British Motor Industry Trust that confirms the dates of the cars history as already mentioned, but also that it was built for the RHD home market and it was painted in New White, which it still is today.

No colour change has taken place, which is rare to find on a classic car, and it also states that the car had black trim (again it still does) although it has enjoyed a re-trim in black but with the addition of red piping, red carpets and a Burr walnut ...
