A winner of various shows (trophies included), this MG ZB ‘Varitone’ is a superb example of the marque.
It was treated to a comprehensive body restoration in 2011 (photos available with invoices) - obviously a quality job given the condition of the car today.
The Heritage certificate confirms the build date of 2-9 July 1957, with the colour combination stated as birch grey over twilight grey with maroon trim.
The paintwork, body, chrome, other brightwork and trim are close to perfect condition and the engine bay is highly detailed to original appearance.
The wheels have been powder coated and they boast matching Michelin tyres with chrome hub caps and embellishers.
The interior is in great condition as well.
The leather seats are lovely and comfortable and the wood facia and door trims look splendid.
It would appear that all seals, rubbers and ‘furflex’ beading have all been replaced.
