Here we have a very early example of the Morris Mini Minor.
Built on 23 rd November 1959 and registered on 4/12/1959 by Stewart and Arden Limited, it is finished in Clipper blue and was believed to have been bought as a Christmas present for its lucky first owner.
The car would appear to be largely original, having been very well cared for throughout its life, and was subject to an engine rebuild in 2020.
It comes with a selection of paperwork, previous MOTs and a lovely set of newspaper cuttings and photographs detailing various events and shows it has attended throughout its life, as well as a British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate detailing its build history.
The Mini came about because of a fuel shortage caused by the 1956 Suez Crisis, and this car actually has a petrol ration book within its paperwork.
