We are very pleased to offer this amazing opportunity to restore a very rare Ford Escort RS 2000 4x4 finished in Ash Black.
The car would appear to be in original factory specification with the Recaro seats and factory sunroof.
According to “how many left” there are only two of these licensed on UK roads at the moment in time and 37 sorned.
This makes it maybe one of the rarest “Fast Fords” on the market today and definitely a car that needs to be kept on the road for the future.
The RS 2000 4x4 was released under the MK5 facelift guise in 1994 and only went through build until mid-1995, making it a very rare car even before it hit the road.
Externally it appeared much the same as the 2WD model, but it did have some very important differences such as the rear cast aluminium cross member, transfer box and rear differential as well as a revised fuel tank, which made it necessary to replace the spare wheel with a space saver due to lack of room in the boot due to the already mentione...
