Description
Supplied new by Lotus in June 1972 and finished in Carmine Red with a Biscuit interior.
Three owners from new, with our vendor acquiring the car in 2009 Its original owner, a school teacher, used the Europa as his summer daily driver until retiring in the early 1990s, when he embarked upon a comprehensive restoration using Lotus factory-sourced parts The restoration included a replacement galvanised backbone chassis, a rebuild of the original Twin Cam engine and attention to the gearbox, driveshafts and hubs.
