First registered in 1956 in Brecon as EEU 482, this Series I was acquired by its current family in 1988 and has remained in their ownership since.

It's believed to have been with another family from new until 1988 but most of the original documentation has been lost The vehicle is now registered under 499 XVR and is supplied with a British Motor Museum Certificate and its original 'buff' logbook After years of farm-use by the current family, the Landy was stored in a barn where it remained untouched until 2023 at which point it was inherited by his daughter, the current owner It has recently undergone some light recommissioning which included flushing the fuel lines, fitting new brakes all around and a full service Never painted by our vendors and it seems unlikely to have been painted by its first family owners, so we have to conclude it remains in its original Bronze Green paint, with a canvas tilt and green vinyl seating The odometer indicates 40,980 miles which again seems likely...
