The car is described as a 'project example' that 'has not turned a wheel since' it was placed in a private collection around 2010. The listing mentions 'competition provenance' and suggests that 'doing the research' on the car could be rewarding, implying it requires further investigation and likely restoration work. Although restored examples can fetch high prices, this particular car needs work. The wear on paint, interior, and wheels are not explicitly stated, so it is difficult to rank it higher.

Notchback-style Series II cars came with a lengthened wheelbase and more power (up from 38 to 43bhp) while the final (third) series boasted further styling revisions and 48bhp.
Complementing the standard Appia saloon were a series of limited edition models produced on a separate chassis and bodied by leading carrozzeria, Pininfarina being responsible for the Coupé, Vignale the Cabriolet and Zagato the GT Coupé.
