Year: 1964 Make: Rolls-Royce Model: Silver Cloud III by Mulliner Park Ward Registration: OSL 393 Chassis No: SFU581 Odometer: 50,400 The Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III is widely regarded as the ultimate development of the celebrated Silver Cloud range.

Introduced in 1962, it combined the marque’s exceptionally smooth 6.2 litre V8 engine and four-speed automatic transmission with reduced weight, improved performance and the distinctive twin-headlamp frontal treatment that defined the final generation.

While the majority received Rolls-Royce’s standard factory coachwork, a very small number of chassis were entrusted to specialist coachbuilders.

This exceptional 1964 example, chassis number SFU581, carries elegant four-door Sports Saloon coachwork by Mulliner Park Ward.

Often informally associated with the evocative ‘Flying Spur’ name, this rare design is distinguished by its lower roofline, restrained proportions and dramatically canted twin headlamps.
