The Porsche 964 was designed by Benjamin Dimson in 1986 and manufactured between 1989 and 1994.
It featured significant styling revisions over previous 911 models and was considered to be 85% new when compared to its predecessor.
The 964 Carrera boasted a new naturally aspirated engine called the M64 with a flat-six, 3.6 litre engine with power steering and ABS brakes added for the very first time.
Exterior bumpers and fog lamps became flush into the car allowing for better aerodynamics and a new electric rear spoiler raised at speeds above 50mph.
