AI Listing Summary

This 1965 Mustang GT Fastback is a rare find, boasting factory-fitted air conditioning and a manual 289 Windsor V8 engine. Meticulously maintained and originally from California, it features some modifications for enhanced performance and sound but remains in excellent condition despite minor reconditioning.

Condition

7

The car presents beautifully with solid bodywork and no signs of rust or corrosion. The vendor has replaced the front floor pans and fuel tank with genuine Ford parts as a matter of course. However, there are some modifications such as a Holley carburettor, Edelbrock intake manifold, American racing alloy wheels, and a Magnaflow exhaust system. Overall, the car appears to be in very good condition.

Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production.

The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the car's early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered.

First registered on 1 st January 1965, this early Fastback GT presents beautifully.

As a suffix ‘A’ car, it was built in the San Jose, California plant, where it is believed to have spent most of its life.

This is certainly very plausible given the incredible condition of the car’s bodywork; it is incredib...
