From Le Mans to Sebring, the Porsche 718 dominated the racing world throughout the fifties and early sixties.

This legendary car was driven by the heroes of the day; Stirling Moss, Jean Behra, Von Trips, Ken Miles, Dan Gurney to name a few.

Competing against the might of Aston Martin, Ferrari and Jaguar, their list of victories is legendary with RSK and RS60 racers winning the Targa Florio in 1959 and 1960.

Any motor racing history book will tell you, that during the 1950's and 1960's, the little silver bullets known as the 'Porsche Spyders' were hugely successful.

Only a limited number however, were ever built, and the rare road going examples became instant classics.

The name RSK 718/1500 means ""RennSport"", the ""K"" denoting the suspension, the ""718"" is the chassis type, and '1500' is the engine size.

It was this reign of success, coupled with the scarcity of original cars, which prompted specialist Porsche engineer, Strictly Aircooled, to build their own version of this c...
