The vendor informs us that the car has undergone a full nut-and-bolt restoration and now presents in excellent order throughout, both mechanically and cosmetically.

Significantly improved from standard specification, the engine has been uprated from 948cc to 1172cc, with additional performance enhancements including a large carburettor, duplex timing chain (sourced from an Austin Metro for improved efficiency), and an electric cooling fan.

The engine is said to be freshly built and not yet fully run in.

Stopping power has been sensibly upgraded too, with a servo fitted and front brakes converted from drums to discs.
