‘ARU 633B’ was first registered in July 1964, since when it is understood to have had 15 keepers, the most recent of whom acquired the car three years ago, just before lockdown.

Its pleasing dark over light blue bodywork is teamed with blue leather trim and, courtesy of the bench-style front seat and column gearchange, the Vauxhall can seat up to six adults in comfort.

There is also a sizeable boot to accommodate any related luggage.

The vendor currently views the six-cylinder engine and manual transmission as ‘excellent’ and the four-door bodywork, paintwork and upholstery as ‘good’.

Aside of the addition of an oil pressure gauge, the Velox would appear to be very much as it would have started life 59 years ago.

The last MOT was advisory free and expired in November 2020.

A rare survivor by any standards Don’t be too surprised if you haven’t seen one of these for a long time, or perhaps ever, as it is believed there are only three left in the UK, including ‘ARU 633B’.
