Introduced in 2024, the Ferrari 12Cilindri continued one of Maranello’s most enduring traditions: the front-engined, two-seat V-12 grand tourer.

Its lineage stretches through landmark models including the 275 GTB, 365 GTB/4 Daytona, 550 Maranello, 599 GTB Fiorano, F12berlinetta, and 812 Superfast.

Yet the 12Cilindri was conceived not simply as another escalation of performance, but as a broader reinterpretation of Ferrari’s flagship berlinetta, balancing extraordinary speed with refinement and long-distance ability. At its heart remained Ferrari’s naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V-12, derived from the long-running F140 engine family.

Producing 830 PS at 9,250 rpm and revving to 9,500 rpm, it incorporated titanium connecting rods, diamond-like carbon-coated finger followers, revised valvetrain components, and extensive friction-reduction measures.
