1987 BMW E32 730i Auto - Low owner example - Freshly Mot d until January 2023 - Up & coming modern classic Replacing the E23, the second generation 7-series had big boots to fill (quite literally) and continued the trend of packing large quantities of technology to assist with the luxury experience.
Despite its size, the E32 had no problems keeping up, with a top speed of 155mph; it certainly was no slouch.
Very often referred to as what my dad used to drive , new features included active suspension, traction control and dual-zone climate control which were offered across a board of different wheel-bases or straight-six and V12 power plants.
Our 730i is finished in metallic grey with grey cloth interior, sunroof and is spec d with the buttery automatic gearbox - ideal for this type of straight-six cruiser.
From our inspection, the car looks in good condition for being 35-years-old, with the chrome and interior especially being in nice order.
Presumably because it was a London-base...
