The second-generation 7 Series, known as the E32, entered the scene at the 1986 Paris Motor Show, starting with the choice of two 12-valve 6-cylinders.

Its design was signed by Claus Luthe and the Italian Ercole Spada, who previously worked for Zagato.

When presented, the general public and journalists alike considered the 7 Series is a very elegant car.

Under the hood, the famous M30 engine, born with the BMW 2500 and 2800, is found in the entry-level segment, with a displacement of 2,986 cm3 and 197 hp for the 730i.

The power of the engine goes down to 188 hp in the 1990 vintage, with the adoption of the catalyst.

Leather, precious woods and a melodious six-cylinder dressed in a five-meter long dress, that’s how we can summarize the BMW 7 Series.
