AI Listing Summary

This 1952 Austin A40 Somerset, finished in Cotswold Beige with a red vinyl interior, is a classic British family car that's part of a downsized collection. It features the standard engine. While it runs, it needs recommissioning, including the rear brakes, making it a project car ready for classic car shows.

Condition

The car is described as being the subject of an older cosmetic restoration and has been dry-stored recently. While it runs and drives, it will benefit from some recommissioning, and the rear brakes have been temporarily disconnected due to being seized. This suggests some mechanical and cosmetic wear, but not extensive damage.

In 1954, after over 170,000 units had been produced, the range was dropped, to be replaced by the all new square look of the A40/50 Cambridge.

Finished in Cotswold Beige with a contrasting red vinyl interior, this attractive A40 has formed par...
