The Abarth SE025 called “Formula Italian” borned by the need to equip young drivers a car costing content that would allow participation in a promotional championship at a low cost.

To do this, Abarth built a tubular frame to which combines a motor and a gearbox from the automobile industry, to facilitate supplies also the main parts such as wheel hubs and brakes are derived from regular cars on the market in those years.

This has allowed many young drivers to succeed and get up to F1.

The car in question chassis # 025 was one of the first produced and participated from the start to the first league.

After a long inactivity was found and purchased in 2006 by Mauro Pane of “F1 Storiche” and he restored it, then the car has been the subject of quite a news report in the journal “Automobilismo d’Epoca” of April 2007 (magazine available attached in the file).
