KEY FACTS This Porsche 928 GTS is an acclaimed modern classic grand tourer, believed to be one of the final two UK cars delivered It is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.4-litre V8, delivering 345bhp and 369lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
Information in ‘The Real 928’ book compiled by David Hemmings notes, "last known UK GTS chassis numbers 800264 and 800396 subject to verification” – and this car is the first of these two.
The odometer displays 127,163 miles.
EQUIPMENT AND FEATURES The GTS was released as the 928’s final variant in 1992 and featured flared rear wings, a red ‘Heckblende’ panel between the rear lights, a colour-coded rear spoiler, Cup-designed wing mirrors and wheels, and a larger V8.
This example is finished in Lapis Blue over a co-ordinating blue leather-trimmed cabin, punctuated by wooden inlays.
It rides on a set of 17-inch ‘Cup’ alloy wheels, housing black callipers and fitted with Michelin tyres.
