This 1961 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE 'Fintail' presents a mixed bag. While it boasts interesting provenance, having been displayed at the Earls Court Motor Show and featured in magazines, it also has some noted cosmetic issues. The seller mentions a few patches of rust, a resprayed roof, and seats that have been re-connolised. Mechanically, the car had advisories for tire wear and an oil leak in its most recent MOT, though the tires have been replaced since. Given these factors, along with the suggestion it would benefit from a recommissioning service, the car isn't in pristine condition, but it's also not heavily damaged. The cosmetics bring the condition down, as does the need for recommissioning.
