The Company who commissioned the rebuild ordered the car in Gunmetal with Red leather trim, and work included completely rebuilding the V12 engine, fitting a four speed gearbox, completely rebuilt steering and suspension systems, new braking system with modernised components, a complete total re-wire, all new chrome work and exterior body fittings and new chrome wire wheels, hubs and tyres.

Since completion, the E-Type has been superbly maintained, a comprehensive file of invoices are on record to support.XRW 26J has been regularly serviced and over the years mechanical upkeep has included a new steering rack, carbs have been rebuilt, exhaust manifolds replaced and the exhaust system has been replaced.

The E-Type has also in recent years had a brand new mohair hood and new windscreen, keeping the car in lovely condition throughout.
