On the cars return to the U.K.
it was put through a major program of work with our sister company Malton Coachworks.
The E-Type was essentially stripped back to bare shell and any evident corrosion was removed.
The sills were replaced, a new floor assembly fitted and various panel work carried out.
The bare tub was then prepared for painting in the cars original colour and as result the E-Type has a pristine beautifully painted underbody finish.
The front space frame was replaced and re-fitted to the body tub, the bare bulk head prepared and re-painted and on build up the car fitted with new rubber seals and mechanically overhauled as required with many parts replaced.
