Description
Carefully crafted recreation of an early Mini Cooper...This homage to the iconic cars of the mid-sixtieswas built during 2014/15 from a standard shell stripped, sandblasted and strengthened with new panels where needed, before being professionally painted in the traditional Cooper colours of Tartan Red with a Black roof.
The car was then methodically reassembled using high-quality stainless steel bolts, clips and brackets. Mechanically the build consisted of a modified 1275 engine with a Cooper 'S' head and other performance parts.
Braking was taken care of using Cooper 'S' discs and all the suspension was poly bushed.
The car is fitted with adjustable "GAZ" shocks and the fuel supplied througha new electric pump and fuel lines.
To complete the sixties Cooper image, the red and black cabin sports some new bucket seats with three-point harnesses and a 'Momo' wheel.
This super Cooper evocation appears to have covered just over 1,200 miles since its build and has a current MOT.
