In the twilight of the R34 GT-R's lifecycle, Nissan released a pair of limited-edition variants as a final sendoff to its beloved Skyline GT-R model.

Introduced in 2002, the V-Spec II and M-Spec II Nür were named for the Nürburgring upon which the GT-R was developed.

Both variants were equipped with racing-derived, N1-specification engine internals; namely larger and more durable turbochargers.

Generating more boost than the standard GT-R, these turbos really stretched the truth that the RB26DETT engine adhered to the Japanese gentleman's agreement limit of 280 CV, in reality believed to produce more than 330 CV.

The final edition GT-Rs also featured unique touches including different colored stitching on the interior trim, gold valve covers in place of red covers, a gold VIN plate, and a speedometer that went up to 300 km/h.
