This 1960 Porsche 356B was completed on April 25, 1960 and is one of a reported 18 Carrera GT coupes built for the model year, all of which were equipped with aluminum doors and lids along with Plexiglas side and rear windows.
Chassis 110858 was delivered new to Switzerland, where it remained through 1983.
The car was then relocated to Germany and raced throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, including events at Zolder and Nürburgring with a 4th place finish in the GT class up to 1,600cc at the ADAC Großer Preis Nürburgring in July 1985.
