This 1960 MG MGA 1600 Mk I coupe was purchased in early 2023 by the seller, who subsequently performed a body-off refurbishment that was completed in mid-2024.
The car was stripped and repainted in Iris Blue.
Its 1.6-liter inline-four was rebuilt and bored .020″ over, fitted with an MGB cylinder head and an aftermarket camshaft, its dual SU carburetors were rebuilt, and an aluminum radiator, stainless-steel exhaust system, and oil cooler were installed.
Kilmat sound-deadening material was applied to the interior before it was retrimmed in black upholstery with blue piping.
In addition, the wiring harness was replaced, and the brakes and suspension were overhauled.
