This 1955 Jaguar XK140 MC roadster was dispatched new to Charles Hornburg’s distributorship in Los Angeles, California, in January 1956.

The car spent 18 years with one Florida owner from 1972 to 1990, and it later spent another 27 years with an Oregon owner who commissioned a six-year refurbishment that concluded circa 2001.

The car was refinished in green, the four-speed manual transmission was provided with an overdrive unit, and the cabin was reupholstered in Biscuit leather.

The 3.4-liter inline-six was rebuilt approximately 15 years ago, a process that included replacing the main bearings and valves, and the car is equipped with a replacement black soft top, 16″ wire wheels, Lucas driving lights, adjustable seats, and lap belts.
