Vehicle Details
AI Listing Summary
This 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona is a rare spyder conversion completed in 1985, featuring a rebuilt 4.4-liter V12 engine and a five-speed manual transmission. Recently refurbished with a red exterior, black leather interior, and Borrani wire wheels, it presents well but has non-working A/C and radio, impacting its condition rating despite significant recent investment.
Condition
7
The car has undergone a spyder conversion and subsequent cosmetic refurbishment in red with a reupholstered black interior and new soft top. While mechanical servicing has been performed, including carburetor rebuilds and gearbox work, the air conditioning and radio are non-functional. The odometer was zeroed during the conversion, and some components like fuel pumps and bushings have been replaced. This indicates a car that is generally well-maintained and visually appealing but has some functional drawbacks and a converted history.

Description
TMU 4.4-Liter Colombo V12 Six Weber 40DCN 21/A Carburetors Five-Speed Manual Gearbox Red Paint Black Leather Upholstery Black Soft Top 15" Ruote Borrani Wheels Conversion, Service, & Refresh Records This 1972 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona was sent to Carrozzeria Auto Sport in Italy in 1985 to be converted into a spyder.
A 4.4-liter Colombo V12 sends power to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual gearbox, and the six Weber carburetors were rebuilt in 2016 as part of nearly $13k in servicing performed by North East Auto Doctors in Connecticut.
The car was sent back to Auto Sport the following year for a cosmetic refurbishment at a cost of €49k.
Work included refinishing the exterior in red, reupholstering the black interior, and fitting a new soft top.
The car was purchased by the selling dealer , and work thereafter reportedly included fitting Borrani wire wheels, a rebuild of the gearbox, new fuel pumps, and new running gear bushings.
