This 1953 Studebaker Champion Regal Starlight two-door coupe was purchased by the current owner in 2010 and was subsequently modified in the style of a Frick Studillac.

Bill Frick Motors retrofitted a Cadillac-sourced 365ci V8 into their “Studillac” and offered a range of other upgrades, including Borrani knock-off wheels, in period.

The owner outfitted the engine in this replica with dual Edelbrock four-barrel carburetors, an Isky camshaft, electronic ignition, and billet brackets and pulleys, and a 700R4 automatic was also retrofitted.
