This Ford Probe IV is one of two concept cars built as the penultimate design in a series of low-drag prototypes designed in collaboration between Ghia and Ford in 1983 and is said to have been utilized for wind-tunnel testing and development.

Configured without a powertrain or functional doors, the car is said to have been displayed in the private collection of the owner of Gullo Ford in Conroe, Texas, for several years before being placed in long-term storage.

It was later purchased by the seller after resurfacing in 2024.

Construction incorporates fiberglass bodywork finished in silver over a wood frame with adjustable steel subframes carrying wheel assemblies.
