Condition

6

The car is described as being in decent condition overall, with an original and unmodified interior, which is uncommon. However, there is a split in the driver's seat bolster, indicating some wear. The exterior is in a rare brilliant white color with pillarless door frames and pop-up headlamps. Mechanically, it has a reliable Japanese powertrain with a 2.5-liter V6 engine. While the listing mentions some service history, it is not fully comprehensive.

Great looks, good performance and loads of equipment.

The Ford Probe has developed somewhat of a cult following.

With not very many around, when they do come onto the market, especially good ones, there is usually a bit of a scramble.
History and background
The first Probe was launched in the US in 1989.

Us Brits got to try out this new-age Capri when the second-gen model landed in the UK in 1994.

The second-gen model had a much sleeker design and was derived from the front-wheel-drive Mazda platform.

The engines, chassis and transmission were all Mazda-developed, while Ford focused on the bodywork and interior.

It all came together very well.

First registered 20 November 1995
MOT lasts until April 2025
Comes with some service history – not fully comprehensive
