This 1967 DeTomaso Mangusta is one of approximately 401 examples built during four years of production and is said to have been purchased at the Turin Motor Show by Japanese fashion design icon Hanae Mori.

Chassis 8MA620 spent most of its life in Karuizawa, Japan, before being purchased seven years ago by its current owner, who imported it to the US in 2022 and commissioned a refresh that included floor repairs and a re-trim of the interior in black leather.

The car subsequently won its class at the 2025 St.

Michaels Concours d’Elegance on Chesapeake Bay in Kent Narrows, Maryland.

Finished in red, the car is powered by a 351ci Ford Windsor V8 that was installed under previous ownership and is mated to a ZF five-speed manual transaxle.
