Condition

5

The car has been repainted in a non-original color due to prior front-end damage. The seats have been re-trimmed, and rust holes are present in the floor pans. The engine is a replacement from a different car. These factors indicate noticeable cosmetic and mechanical wear, suggesting an 'Above Average' condition.

This 1964 Alfa Romeo Giulia 1600 Spider was acquired by the seller in 1970 from a friend whose uncle reportedly purchased it new in Southern California.

Chassis AR378817 was relocated to Washington State circa 1972 and was subsequently fitted with a replacement 1.6L twin-cam inline-four from a damaged 1965 Giulia Spider Veloce in 1975.

Later work included re-trimming the seats in black vinyl in 2012 as well as repainting the body Viper Red in 2018.

The car rides on Fergat-style 15″ steel wheels coupled with Koni shocks and lowering springs at all four corners and is further equipped with front disc brakes and a five-speed manual transmission.
