This 1948 Ford F-1 flatbed truck was purchased by the late owner in 1989 and refurbished and modified during the 1990s with work that involved the installation of a 350ci Chevrolet V8 and a GM three-speed automatic transmission.

The cab and front body panels were painted yellow, and a steel-framed flatbed assembly with a wood floor and wood stake-bed sides was installed along with a rear step bumper, a receiver hitch, and a Delta diamond-plate tool box.
