The F1 was the first Ford truck that wasn't based on an existing car chassis.
The 1st-Generation ran from 1947 until 1952 and offered eight different chassis, the F1 half-ton having the lightest capacity For 1951, the grille was restyled with a large horizontal bar, moving the headlights further apart This striking, left-hand drive, 1951 F1 Pickup was imported three years ago by our vendor and restored over a three-year period The bodywork was totally stripped back and nut and bolt rebuilt, the brakes are brand new and the suspension has been overhauled Fully rebuilt 3.9 Flathead V8 with new pistons, shells and bearings mated to a manual 'three on the tree' gearbox Refinished in Black with a red leather bench seat.
