C5 Drivetrain/Suspension/Brake Swap 5.7-Liter LS1 V8 Trick Flow Top-End Kit Dry-Sump Lubrication Six-Speed Manual Transmission Limited-Slip Differential Gray Paint Corvette 17" & 18" Five-Spoke Wheels C6 Anti-Lock Brake Module QA1 Coilovers Adjustable Sway Bars Roll Cage Front Race Seats G-Force Multi-Point Harnesses Custom Fuel System Griffin Aluminum Radiator Dual Side-Exit Exhaust Outlets This custom track car was built by the seller using a 1990 Volvo 740 GLE modified to accept the underpinnings and powertrain of a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette.
The project began in 2014 and took an estimated 1,900 hours of work over 1.5 years.
The 5.7-liter LS1 V8 was outfitted with a Trick Flow 550-horsepower top-end kit, dry-sump lubrication, a Griffin radiator, and a custom dual exhaust system with Borla mufflers.
The C5’s six-speed manual gearbox, a limited-slip differential, staggered wheels, electronics, and instrumentation were retained.
