Recently used on the set of the Channel 5 TV drama The Hoard , this 2316cc Volvo 740 GLE runs, drives and stops but will need recommissioning to return to the road as it has been off the road for around a year or so.

The odometer isn't currently working but shows 233,251 miles; the actual mileage is over 436,000 miles - the dashboard will need looking at, according to the vendor.

The car was registered in October 1988 and is showing three registered keepers on its V5C (the previous two were members of the same family).

Its last MoT expired in July 2024.

The Volvo comes with a vast amount of paperwork that includes the V5C, various MoT certificates back to 2004, Haynes workshop manual and two folders full of invoices from 1991 onwards.

The two service record books have many stamps up to an indicated 19,808 miles in March 2009.
