This 1955 Imperial Newport two-door hardtop was acquired by the seller’s father out of Indiana in 1995.
It has since been repainted in cream with a gold-colored roof, and the bench seats have been reupholstered in white leather with gold brocade cloth.
The matching door panels were likewise re-covered and the gold carpeting was replaced.
Additional work involved re-chroming the grille, bumpers, and badges; refurbishing the fuel tank; and replacing the horn ring, air-conditioning compressor, shocks, spark plugs, plug wires, oil-pan gasket, and exhaust pipes.
