This 1973 Saab Sonett III was purchased by its current owner in 1975 and parked around 1984.

In 2017 a refurbishment started with a rebuild of the 1.7-liter V4 along with the alternator, starter, and the four-speed transmission, while the flywheel was lightened, and following disassembly of the car and a refinish of the body in primer, the project eventually stalled.

The car is also equipped with a Weber 32/36 two-barrel carburetor, front disc brakes, and 15″ soccer ball wheels.

Parts accompanying the project include carpets, interior panels, fixed-back bucket seats, a dashboard with gauges, doors with window glass, spare tires, and more.
