This 1971 Saab Sonett III was the subject of a body-off refurbishment and was later acquired by the current owner in 2021.

Work performed during the refurbishment is said to have included rebuilding the 1.7-liter V4, modifying the four-speed manual transaxle with a transmission saver kit and a reverse lockout kit, installing PerTronix electronic ignition and interior sound insulation, and replacing assorted cooling, suspension, braking, and exhaust components.

Finished in yellow over brown vinyl upholstery, the car has pop-up headlights, front disc brakes, 15” soccer ball wheels, a roll bar, and a Retrosound stereo head unit.
