It was subsequently sent to the Derham Body Company, where it was modified with custom formal blind corner bodywork.

It was gifted by Paley to his sister, Blanche Paley Levy, prior to completion of the bodywork, and remained in the Levy family until 1978.

It underwent a refurbishment that was completed in 1996 and was purchased by the seller’s father later that year.
