This 1969 DeTomaso Mangusta is one of approximately 401 examples built during four years of production and is said to have appeared for sale in Los Angeles in 1977 before making its way to the collection of Chuck Wray in the late 2000s.

The car was purchased circa 2010 by a California owner who commissioned a refurbishment that included a repaint in silver and a re-trim of the interior in tan leather, after which the car received the People’s Choice Award at the 2012 La Jolla Concours d’Elegance.

It was purchased in 2013 by its current owner, who has since displayed it twice at LeMay – America’s Car Museum as well as at the 2013 ArtCenter College of Design Car Classic, the 2014 Pacific Northwest Concours d’Elegance, where ...
