This 1932 Alvis 12/50 TJ is said to have been delivered new to the Imperial Motor Mart in Cheltenham, England, wearing four-door saloon coachwork before being first registered on September 21, 1932.

The car was reportedly discovered in a barn in the 1980s wearing a replacement Lea-Francis body and subsequently underwent a refurbishment that involved installing reproduction Cross & Ellis-style dual-cowl open sports touring coachwork.

Further mechanical freshening was carried out in the UK in 2022 before the car was purchased by the seller and imported to the US, where it later participated in the 2023 Radnor Concours d’Elegance.
